All orders within Australia are shipped with FREE POSTAGE by regular mail with Australian Post or by courier with Sendle. We take extra care to pack your order to ensure that it arrives in the same condition that it leaves our warehouse.
Smaller orders such as maps and pocket guidebooks are shipped as large letters and do not have tracking. Larger products are shipped with full tracking; we will email you the tracking details so you can monitor the progress of your order.
If you require your order quickly, you can select our Express Post service in the checkout. There is a flat charge of $10.00 for Express Post, regardless of the size of your order.
Shipping to addresses outside of Australia
For deliveries to addresses outside Australia, please contact us and we will advise you of the postage costs for your order. Should you wish to proceed with your order, we will then issue you with an invoice with postage costs included. International orders cannot be processed through our checkout. Express Post is not available for international orders.
Items that are listed as ‘In stock’ are on the shelf in our Melbourne store and will be shipped within 24 hours. If an item is not in stock we will need to order if from our suppliers before we can ship it to you. We are usually able to get these from the supplier within 3-7 working days. Once we have stock on hand, we will ship it within 24 hours.

Australia Post guarantees next business delivery of Express Post items within their Express Post Network. This covers 80% of Australian business addresses, private addresses and Post Office boxes. If your address is outside the network, Australia Post will use the fastest possible transport links but your order won’t be covered by their ‘Next Day Guarantee’. Delayed, Lost or Returned Deliveries
An order can be delayed, lost or returned to Latitude Books if your address has incorrect and/or insufficient details.
If we are found to be responsible for incorrectly addressing a package, we will resend it, replace it or issue a refund.
If the order is returned to us due to you providing incorrect and/or insufficient information, we will require an extra delivery charge of $6.50 before resending the order. If the order is delayed or lost due to you providing incorrect and/or insufficient information, we will not be liable for this delay or loss and will not issue any replacement product or refund.
If the order is correctly addressed and is lost by Australia Post, we will work with you to seek a resolution. Claims for orders that are not received must be made within 4 weeks of shipment.

Latitude Books will not cover the cost of return postage unless you received a faulty or damaged item. When returning an item (except when it is being retuned because it is faulty or damaged), it must be returned in perfect condition for resale. We will not issue a refund for products that are returned damaged or never arrive.
